Supervisor-EHS (Operator Qualification)

Location: Houston, Texas, with a flexible hybrid work schedule; up to 50% travel across a broad geographic region is required.

What you will do

• Manage the enterprise-wide Operator Qualification program across natural gas transmission, processing, products pipelines, liquid terminals, and CO2 operations.
• Lead and develop a team of approximately seven employees, including performance management, training, scheduling, and goal tracking.
• Maintain and improve Operator Qualification and related training programs while minimizing impact on business-unit processes and resources.
• Participate in internal, state, federal, and local regulatory audits; respond to agency requests and provide required information.
• Monitor qualification records and training accomplishments, targeting 100% compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Review contractor qualification programs and supervise third-party consultants, including scope, schedules, and costs.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• 3–5 years of direct experience in related job functions.
• Knowledge of PHMSA/DOT Operator Qualification Rules CFR 192 and 195, as well as OSHA, DOT, and EPA training regulations.
• Experience developing and evaluating procedures and programs, working with regulatory agencies, and managing multiple tasks under strict deadlines.
• Strong verbal and written communication, organization, time management, computer, and confidential-information handling skills.
• Valid driver's license, satisfactory driving record, drug screen, and background check are required.

Nice to have

• Leadership, supervisory, or management experience.
• Pipeline operations or engineering experience.
• Project management experience and familiarity with management-system approaches to program development.
• Experience with budgeting and the hirify.global budget process.
