What you will do

  • Lead and direct trainers while identifying employee skill and knowledge gaps across production lines and shifts.
  • Collaborate with Quality, Manufacturing, Human Resources, subject matter experts, process owners, and business stakeholders to define learning goals and outcomes.
  • Design and develop performance-focused training content, manuals, learning tools, practice activities, and scenario-based learning for new and current operators.
  • Analyze process variations and content gaps, then build mechanisms to manage process changes with stakeholder groups.
  • Ensure manufacturing training programs, practices, data, and records meet quality and audit requirements.
  • Administer the Burbank site Learning Management System, including course structures, assignments, user information, and training records.

Requirements

  • At least four years of relevant experience in organizational development or training.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including public or classroom presentation experience.
  • Computer proficiency and experience with standard business applications such as Microsoft Office.
  • Knowledge of Lean manufacturing processes and principles, with strong project management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate with teams across multiple sites and organizational levels.
  • A bachelor’s degree in technology, business, human resources, training, or a related field is preferred.

Nice to have

  • Experience with machining, fabrication, mechanical assembly, and testing.
  • Experience implementing and maintaining a Learning Management System.
  • Proficiency in Storyline or another LMS add-on.
  • Experience leading large-group training sessions and designing course curricula.
