What you will do
- Provide primary administrative support to the Associate Dean of Faculty Affairs, using independent judgment and discretion.
- Coordinate meetings, seminars, special events, faculty development programming, committees, and external awards initiatives.
- Manage office workflows, supplies, equipment, conference rooms, video conferencing, and daily administrative activities.
- Maintain faculty personnel files, records retention processes, spreadsheets, databases, office references, Teams resources, and SharePoint sites.
- Coordinate travel arrangements and prepare itineraries for faculty affairs leadership, faculty hiring, programming, and fellowship logistics.
- Prepare, edit, proofread, and verify correspondence, reports, guidelines, and other documents while recommending process improvements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- At least three years of experience in office administration.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel and organizational data management.
- Strong verbal and written communication, interpersonal, organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.
- Professionalism, attention to detail, initiative, composure, and the ability to work cooperatively with others.
- Applicants are subject to a criminal history investigation and credential verification.

- Administrative support experience in higher education.
- A four-year college degree or associate degree.
