Technical Business Analyst

What you will do

• Analyze complex business problems and recommend automated system solutions.
• Act as a liaison between business users, technical teams, and management.
• Identify, evaluate, and develop cost-effective systems and procedures.
• Prepare technical specifications for system changes and develop test plan components and test scripts.
• Train users, resolve questions, assess needs, and recommend improvements.
• Improve technical processes and provide guidance to less experienced staff.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in business systems analysis and/or design, or 5–7 years of technical analysis or project management experience in a business environment.
• Four-year degree or equivalent relevant experience.
• Experience evaluating complex business needs and recommending viable technical solutions.
• Experience with large projects involving multiple integration points and writing technical design documents.
• Experience with Agile and infrastructure projects.
• Strong communication, analytical, organizational, and time-management skills, with the ability to work independently in ambiguous situations.

Nice to have

• Experience with Middleware and Java.
• Knowledge of Middleware or Java upgrades and deployments.
• Experience working with application and support teams.
