Technical Business Systems Analyst

Location: Fully onsite at a client site in Salt Lake City, Utah, USA, five days per week

What you will do

• Work with business and technical stakeholders to define complex solutions across digital products, integrations, modernization, and enterprise transformation initiatives.
• Elicit requirements through interviews, workshops, and collaborative sessions, then translate business objectives into functional and technical requirements.
• Partner with architects, engineers, and product teams on data models, APIs, integrations, interfaces, and system workflows.
• Analyze current-state systems, data quality, processes, and dependencies to define future-state solutions and recommendations.
• Write epics, user stories, acceptance criteria, and backlog items within Agile delivery teams.
• Support integration, system, and user acceptance testing, including requirements traceability, validation, and risk management.

Requirements

• 3–10+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst, Technical Architect, or in a similar role delivering enterprise IT solutions.
• Consulting or client-facing advisory experience and experience with multi-system implementations and complex integrations.
• Experience defining business rules, user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, data flows, and visual system models in Agile environments.
• Strong understanding of enterprise integration patterns, APIs, data flows, and cloud-based architectures.
• Ability to write and execute SQL queries for analysis, troubleshooting, validation, and testing.
• Must be authorized to work directly for any employer in the United States without visa sponsorship; hirify.global cannot transfer or sponsor a work visa.

Nice to have

• Experience with digital product development, cloud or application modernization, and enterprise transformation.
• Experience in energy, utilities, infrastructure, financial services, healthcare, or public sector environments.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365, Power Platform, Salesforce, or similar enterprise platforms.
• Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Dynamics 365, Power Platform, Scrum, Product Owner, CBAP, or PMI-PBA.
