What you will do

• Administer, maintain, and provide operational support for the PaaS component of the CASA Compute Environment.
• Support secure, multi-tenant, high-performance, and highly available Kubernetes clusters in a Linux-based infrastructure.
• Integrate, install, configure, upgrade, compile, and support COTS/GOTS software across heterogeneous operating systems.
• Ensure platform reliability, scalability, security compliance, and optimal cluster performance.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, sustainment updates, and software performance characterization tests.
• Provide product ownership for HPC tools and collaborate using configuration management, documentation, and issue-tracking systems.

Requirements

• United States citizenship and an appropriate security clearance are required; TS/SCI with an agency-appropriate polygraph is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field with at least eight years of demonstrable relevant experience, or an approved equivalent combination of experience, certifications, or a master’s degree.
• Strong Linux CLI and Linux tools experience, including basic system administration and shell scripting.
• Experience developing Bash and Python scripts and using Docker or Podman.
• Experience administering, monitoring, and troubleshooting Kubernetes clusters and workloads, including ingress, performance, networking, and storage.
• Experience with infrastructure as code, Ansible, Helm Charts, Prometheus/Grafana, and Git.

Nice to have

• Experience with the Atlassian Tool Suite, including Jira and Confluence.
• Experience in a DevOps environment using Agile methodologies.
• Experience developing Python REST services or microservices, or willingness to learn.
• Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) certification.
