Senior DevOps Engineer (GCP/Kubernetes)

Location: USA-WI-Corporate Headquarters; full-time on-site role

What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain scalable GitLab CI/CD pipelines, reusable templates, infrastructure modules, and standardized Git workflows.
• Provision and manage GCP cloud infrastructure with Terraform and operate highly available Kubernetes environments, especially GKE.
• Package and deploy applications with Helm while supporting cloud-native architectures and runtime requirements.
• Implement monitoring, logging, alerting, and observability using tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Cloud Logging, and Cloud Monitoring.
• Participate in incident response, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and resilient system design.
• Apply secure-by-design practices, support vulnerability scanning and compliance initiatives, and provide technical leadership across engineering teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of experience in DevOps, platform engineering, or cloud infrastructure roles supporting production systems.
• Hands-on Kubernetes experience, preferably with GKE, plus strong Linux administration and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with Terraform or similar Infrastructure as Code tools, Helm, and modern cloud-native software delivery pipelines.
• Strong GitLab experience, including CI/CD pipelines and Git-based workflows.
• Proficiency in Python, Go, or another programming or scripting language, with a solid understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, and routing.

Nice to have

• Experience with Google Cloud Trace, security or compliance in regulated environments, and agile or product-driven development.
• Node experience and relevant cloud or Kubernetes certifications such as Google Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer or CKA.
