Learning Quality Consultant (EdTech): Advancing learning quality across online, hybrid, and face-to-face educational programs with an accent on instructional design, digital accessibility, learner experience, and quality assurance. Location: College Station, Texas, United States

Salary: $61,500–$72,000 annually; proposed minimum salary of $5,125 monthly.

What you will do

  • Consult with instructional designers and faculty to review and strengthen course quality, learning objectives, materials, assessments, accessibility, and learner engagement.
  • Coordinate quality assurance reviews using standards and rubrics such as Quality Matters and the OLC Scorecard.
  • Facilitate peer reviews, accessibility reviews, remediation, and consistent application of Flex Online style, branding, and UX standards.
  • Analyze course surveys, LMS data, program metrics, evaluations, and learning analytics to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Develop learning-quality resources, templates, rubrics, guidelines, reports, and presentations for stakeholders.
  • Deliver training, workshops, and consultations while supporting project documentation, timelines, quality checkpoints, and cross-team collaboration.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in education, instructional design, educational technology, learning sciences, or a related field.
  • At least three years of related experience in instructional design, educational development, higher education, or learning quality assurance.
  • Experience with LMS and online learning platforms, course review standards, QA rubrics, digital accessibility tools, and remediation processes.
  • Ability to analyze learner-progress and course-outcomes data, prepare reports, and support data-based decisions.
  • Excellent analytical, written, verbal, interpersonal, organizational, customer service, and time-management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, work independently, and collaborate across teams.

Nice to have

  • Doctoral degree in education, instructional design, educational technology, or a related field.
  • Quality Matters certification, digital accessibility certification, or project management certification.
  • Texas A&M experience and more than three years of relevant post-2018 experience.
  • Experience using AI in data analytics and reporting, developing QA frameworks, and evaluating new instructional approaches.
