Lead Learning & Development Specialist (Healthcare)

Location: Richardson, Texas, United States; hybrid schedule with 3 days in the office and 2 days remote

Base pay: $61,500–$136,100 annually, with eligibility for an annual incentive bonus plan.

What you will do

• Collaborate with departmental and business stakeholders to identify performance gaps and learning needs.
• Lead small to mid-sized learning design and development projects.
• Create design strategies, conduct needs analyses, and develop relevant adult learning solutions.
• Design and develop instructor-led, web-based, and blended learning programs.
• Coordinate communication plans, curriculum maintenance, project management activities, and curriculum readiness.
• Evaluate learning outcomes and business results to identify appropriate improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Development, Organizational Development, Instructional Design, or a related field plus 4 years of relevant experience, or 8 years of relevant experience without the degree.
• Experience leading learning design and development projects and applying multiple instructional design modalities.
• Strong visual, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Experience mentoring and coaching, with technical aptitude and analytical skills.
• Ability to analyze information, evaluate results, overcome obstacles, and develop solutions.
• Ability to work with internal and external customers, senior management, and subject matter experts.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in Human Resource Development, Organizational Development, or Instructional Design.
• Advanced knowledge of adult learning theories and emerging instructional design trends.
• Familiarity with Learning and Talent Management Systems.
• Five years of learning and development experience in a corporate or business setting.
• Experience in a collaborative, matrixed reporting structure and project management.
