Undergrad Intern - Operations (Biotech)

Location: Cambridge, Massachusetts, United States. Students must be located in the United States for the full internship program and authorized to work in the U.S.

Salary: $28.87 per hour.

What you will do

• Complete a 13-week internship combining project-based and experiential learning.
• Develop project charters defining objectives, stakeholders, timelines, and deliverables.
• Work cross-functionally across Supply Chain, Process Development, Quality, Manufacturing, and Facilities & Engineering.
• Identify operational problems, assess current-state performance, and develop recommendations through qualitative and quantitative analysis.
• Present findings through an intern poster session and a final readout to executive management.
• Participate in professional development, mentoring, networking, and Employee Resource Group activities.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old and enrolled full-time in a bachelor's degree program at an accredited college or university.
• Have a minimum 3.0 GPA or equivalent.
• Complete at least one year of study before the internship and remain enrolled after the program.
• Be located in the United States for the duration of the internship and be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Be available for a full-time schedule and able to commit to potential future full-time employment by July 2028 if offered.
• Demonstrate communication, interpersonal, organizational, analytical, quantitative, problem-solving, and leadership skills.

Nice to have

• Studies in Engineering, Life Science, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biotechnology, Applied Mathematics, or Data Science.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
• Knowledge of VBA for Excel and SQL.
• Campus leadership experience through projects, clubs, organizations, or sports.
• Personal initiative, self-motivation, flexibility, and adaptability.
