Electrophysiology Supply Chain (Engineers) Intern (MedTech)

Location: Irvine, California, United States; hybrid work with 2–3 in-person days per week and a preference for fully in-person work.

Salary: $23.50–$52.50 per hour, based on program year, discipline, degree, and experience.

What you will do

• Support engineers with lab testing, drawing updates, data collection, statistical analysis, assembly inspection, and tooling and jig measurements.
• Optimize supply chain activities for new and existing products in a multifunctional environment.
• Review specifications, engineering drawings, and test data to address material changes, dimensional tolerances, design requirements, manufacturing improvements, and cost.
• Test materials and inspect tools and fixtures after fabrication to verify compliance with specifications.
• Assist with material specification changes and process validation documentation and execution.
• Investigate root causes, develop mitigations, and support corrective and preventive actions while helping projects remain on schedule.

Requirements

• Completion of undergraduate freshman year at an accredited university.
• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or fifth-year master’s degree in Industrial, Chemical, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Expected graduation between December 2027 and May 2029.
• Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher and knowledge of statistics.
• Ability to read and understand mechanical drawings; knowledge of AutoCAD and/or SolidWorks.
• Permanent authorization to work in the United States without current or future employment visa sponsorship.
