What you will do

• Scope, plan, execute, and close medical device projects in a regulated manufacturing environment.
• Define and manage project scope throughout the product development life cycle.
• Build, track, and communicate schedules, budgets, risks, progress, and key project metrics.
• Lead cross-functional meetings and guide teams through a systematic Stage Gate product development process.
• Build transparent customer relationships, negotiate requirements and expectations, and protect Confluent’s interests.
• Manage multiple projects and competing deadlines while responding constructively to unexpected issues.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of project management experience in a regulated manufacturing environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science, or another technical field.
• Knowledge of project scheduling, budget management, risk management, and project communications.
• Experience leading subject-matter experts through influence and technical credibility.
• Strong verbal, written, presentation, negotiation, and customer-management skills.
• Must already be authorized to work in the United States; employment visa sponsorship is unavailable, and time-limited visa status is not considered.

Nice to have

• Medical device industry experience.
• Master’s degree.
• PMP certification or a professional project management certificate.
