Production Supervisor I (Aerospace Manufacturing)

Location: Burbank, California, United States; onsite manufacturing environment

Salary: $87,900–$111,500 per year

What you will do

• Support daily operations in an assigned manufacturing area such as metal fabrication, assembly, or test.
• Lead a small team, assign tasks, communicate shift priorities, and coordinate resources.
• Execute production schedules while confirming material availability and adherence to work instructions.
• Monitor safety and quality compliance, escalating issues through the non-conforming materials process.
• Track daily performance metrics and report status, resource needs, overtime, and schedule constraints.
• Coach employees, support onboarding, and participate in problem-solving using 5 Why and fishbone analysis.

Requirements

• 1–2 years of manufacturing experience; prior lead or team coordination experience is preferred.
• Basic understanding of manufacturing processes and continuous improvement concepts.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to follow standard work and work instructions.
• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office and a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Only US Persons may be considered where access to controlled data or information is required under ITAR.
• Ability to work onsite in a normal manufacturing environment and use required personal protective equipment.

Nice to have

• BA or BS in Operations Management or a similar field.
• Supervisory experience in aerospace or electronics manufacturing.
• Familiarity with web-based software.
