Production, Supervisor (Aerospace Manufacturing)

Salary: $67,000–$113,000 per year, with potential discretionary bonuses and incentives.

What you will do

• Supervise production personnel engaged in electrical and mechanical assembly.
• Assign work, evaluate performance, and allocate floor resources to meet production schedules.
• Coordinate with planners and process or manufacturing engineers to manage lead times and completion dates.
• Maintain 5S standards, safe work areas, production documentation, and operational reports.
• Train assemblers on manufacturing procedures and corrective actions, and document completed training.
• Verify quality and manufacturing requirements, analyze production data, and recommend process or equipment improvements.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required; a college degree is preferred.
• At least 7 years of experience in electrical or mechanical assembly or a similar manufacturing production field.
• At least 3–5 years of experience as a production lead or supervisor in aerospace or a related field.
• Experience with production and process control, configuration management, quality standards, and work prioritization.
• Computer proficiency, including access to released drawings and operating Oracle for reports.
• Valid authorization to work in the United States is required.

• Lean/Six Sigma and 5S certification.
• College degree.
