Production Supervisor (Manufacturing)

Location: Onsite in Vonore/Tellico, Tennessee, United States; night shift

Salary: $49,900–$69,300 annually, plus an annual discretionary bonus

What you will do

• Supervise production employees and Leads on the night shift, assign work, and manage staffing, attendance, timekeeping, and performance.
• Own safety, quality, delivery, productivity, cost, and people metrics, creating and executing action plans to close performance gaps.
• Support the launch and integration of new boat models through training coordination, standard work adoption, and process alignment.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives using 5S, Andon, line balancing, spaghetti diagrams, DMAIC, and root cause analysis.
• Partner with Quality, EH&S, HR, and upstream and downstream leaders to resolve defects, safety incidents, personnel issues, and production barriers.
• Manage production schedules, materials, supplies, inventory, and communication of operational changes.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 4 years of manufacturing experience and prior leadership or mentoring experience.
• Knowledge of safety practices in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to analyze data, understand metrics and systems, and maintain strict confidentiality.
• Strong written, oral, and listening communication skills, including conflict resolution.
• Must be currently authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available now or in the future.

Nice to have

• Associate or bachelor’s degree.
• Previous manufacturing supervisory experience.
• Two or more years of lamination experience.
• Certified Green Belt or higher.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills.
