What you will do
- Coordinate technical operators during live and recorded newscasts and productions.
- Supervise and assign duties to technical control and production staff.
- Monitor pictures, direct camera and video staff on composition, and switch video sources during live broadcasts.
- Work as a liaison between engineering and production departments and collaborate with news producers.
- Train camera and CG operators and test broadcast equipment for proper operation.
Requirements
- High school diploma.
- Fluent English and strong oral and written communication skills.
- At least two years of experience in news operations and production, depending on market size.
- Proficiency with broadcast control equipment and standard office equipment.
- Ability to meet deadlines, prioritize assignments, and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
