Video Production Specialist (Broadcast)

Location: Washington, DC, United States; full-time onsite. Core hours are 7:00 AM–7:00 PM Monday–Friday across two shifts, with on-call, overtime, and after-hours, weekend, and holiday support as needed.

What you will do

• Provide direct broadcast, audiovisual, videography, and live video feed support for press briefings, ceremonies, public addresses, and other official events.
• Record, document, catalog, and archive historical, emergency, and daily activities for accurate retrieval and long-term preservation.
• Operate broadcast-quality audio and video recording systems, including live event setup, camera direction, and live switching.
• Coordinate assigned camera crews and ensure professional execution in line with government and agency standards.
• Contribute technical expertise to video and broadcast system modernization, upgrades, cataloging standards, and digital media workflows.
• Respond to mission requirements within two hours of notification and maintain readiness for short-notice assignments.

Requirements

• Active interim security clearance required, with the ability to obtain and maintain active TS/SCI clearance.
• At least 5 years of experience in audiovisual and/or television broadcast operations.
• At least 2 years of experience installing, operating, and maintaining industry-standard broadcast-quality audio and video recording systems.
• At least 2 years of experience supporting live event setup, operation, camera direction, and live event switching.
• Strong knowledge of video archiving, post-production workflows, and broadcast editing systems.
• Ability to perform under tight deadlines in high-profile, mission-critical environments and comply with classified media handling procedures.
