Director, Sports Studio

Location: Must be willing to physically work out of our Stamford, CT location. Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States.

What you will do

• Direct multi-camera live and live-to-tape studio programs.
• Lead control room and studio technicians during live broadcasts.
• Collaborate with producers on creative direction for at-home and remote studios.
• Interpret scripts, block cameras, and manage cast and crew.
• Coordinate technical crew schedules and oversee graphic/sponsorship playback.
• Perform on-site surveys for studio remote shows.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Show Director in a live television production environment.
• Must be willing to physically work out of our Stamford, CT location.
• Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States.
• Strong knowledge of broadcast and production technology, including video switchers.
• Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
• Willingness to work nights and weekends as needed.
