Location: On-site at the Englewood Cliffs, New Jersey facility, United States. Availability for all shifts, including weekends and holidays, is required, along with occasional additional hours on short notice.
Compensation: Up to USD 75 per hour.

What you will do
- Switch fast-paced live news programming according to the director’s instructions.
- Prepare, build, and route video and audio paths, feeds, switcher effects, and transitions.
- Operate Sony MVS, Grass Valley, and ROSS production switchers, ROSS Overdrive automation, VizRT systems, and related peripherals.
- Troubleshoot studio, control-room, and technical operations issues with engineering, operations, and production teams.
- Test and prepare technical systems and equipment for live production.
- Serve as a crew chief when applicable and support operational compliance.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience using production switchers, including Sony MVS, Grass Valley, ROSS switchers, and Overdrive automation.
- At least 2 years of experience in a live news or sports production control-room environment.
- Experience with VizRT systems, switcher peripherals, and live television production workflows.
- Knowledge of live news television production and the ability to work effectively under on-air pressure.
- Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, communication, client service, and multitasking skills.
- Advanced PC skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Nice to have
- Experience with iNews newsroom systems.
- Experience supporting both live news and sports production.
