Broadcast Technician (Cruise Broadcasting)

Location: Onboard an assigned hirify.global vessel

hirify.global Holdings operates cruise vessels and delivers hospitality and passenger entertainment services.

What you will do

• Operate the Broadcast Center and maintain all broadcast and television programming equipment aboard the assigned vessel.
• Record passenger events including theme nights, shopping talks, parties, game shows, department head introductions, and officer profiles.
• Produce approved video content for shoreside requests and protect NCL ownership of all created productions.
• Coordinate with the Communications Officer to verify satellite feeds, coordinates, and signal stability.
• Update the daily information channel and schedule passenger and crew movies.
• Complete quarterly equipment inventories and follow safety and environmental protection procedures.

Requirements

• At least two years of experience in television, broadcasting, or an equivalent cruise-industry role.
• Basic to intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office, Final Cut Studio, and Adobe Photoshop.
• Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Windows and Mac operating systems.
• Basic to intermediate knowledge of HD/SD broadcast systems, Mini-DV cameras, and video deck operation.
• High school diploma or foreign equivalent.
• Demo reel of documented previous video productions and availability to work seven days a week.

Nice to have

• Associate degree or foreign equivalent in Media Arts, Film, Entertainment Studies, or a similar discipline.
