Senior Systems Engineer Liaison (Aerospace)

Location: Aurora, Colorado, in the Denver area; no remote or telework allowed.

Projected compensation range: $146,322.15–$254,425.83 per year.

What you will do

• Provide systems engineering leadership to systems engineering, integration and test, and project engineering teams.
• Support SSG contractors and the program office with GFX/STE management, COMSEC development and management, payload and space vehicle bus artifact reviews, risk management, requirements reviews, and segment coordination.
• Design, develop, evaluate, and modify end-to-end systems and systems-oriented products across their full life cycle.
• Translate product development strategies into system requirements and coordinate lower-level implementation requirements across engineering disciplines.
• Lead or participate in design reviews, trade studies, readiness reviews, testing, production reviews, and customer evaluations.
• Coordinate with government customers, FFRDCs, development contractors, and internal teams on technical deliverables, presentations, and business development activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with 12–15 years of experience, master’s degree with 10–13 years, or PhD with 10 or more years of experience.
• Must possess and be able to maintain a TS/SCI with Poly clearance.
• Full life-cycle systems engineering experience with increasing leadership responsibility.
• Experience generating and verifying system-level requirements, developing verification procedures, and supporting customer acceptance testing.
• Ability to apply formal verification and validation methods, assess technical performance, and ensure compliance with customer and government standards.
• Bachelor of Science in engineering, mathematics, physics, or a related discipline is desired.
