System Engineer (Defense)

System Engineer (Defense/C2): Designing and integrating complex system-of-systems architectures for national security and critical industries with an accent on architecture design, technical analysis, and certification. Salary: $120,000 - $148,673 per year

What you will do

• Conduct systems and system-of-systems architecture design, integration, implementation, and certification activities.
• Perform technical requirements definition and allocation across multiple systems and stakeholders.
• Analyze data from disparate sources to support operational and technical decision-making.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, including test plans, procedures, and reports.
• Support administration, configuration, and troubleshooting across multiple operating systems and virtualized environments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute complex engineering and technical initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, IT, Math, Physics, or a related field.
• 5-8 years of relevant systems engineering or technical integration experience.
• Active Secret Clearance.
• US Citizenship.
• Strong analytical, critical thinking, and data analysis skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

Nice to have

• Experience with Tactical Data Links (TDL) or Command and Control (C2) software.
• Experience supporting MIDS On-Ship (MOS) environments.
• Knowledge of VMware and virtualized environments.
• Experience handling COMSEC-related processes and equipment.
• Background supporting government or defense programs.
