System Engineer

Salary: $120,000–$148,673 per year

What you will do

• Design, integrate, implement, test, review, and certify systems and system-of-systems architectures.
• Define and allocate technical requirements across multiple systems and stakeholders.
• Analyze data from disparate sources and translate findings into operational and technical recommendations.
• Develop and maintain test plans, procedures, reports, and other technical documentation.
• Support cross-functional engineering initiatives and troubleshoot multiple operating systems and virtualized environments.
• Perform systems engineering activities independently with minimal oversight.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, information systems, information technology, operations research, mathematics, physics, business administration, or a related field.
• 5–8 years of relevant systems engineering or technical integration experience.
• Strong analytical, critical-thinking, data-analysis, communication, and technical documentation skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively while learning complex technical concepts quickly.
• Active Secret Clearance; U.S. citizenship is required for the applicable national security eligibility.

Nice to have

• Experience with Tactical Data Links, Command and Control systems, defense programs, or High-Power Amplifier Groups.
• Experience with MIDS On-Ship, COMSEC processes and equipment, systems administration, VMware, and virtualized environments.
• Experience with complex systems engineering, integration, testing, certification, government, defense, or large-scale enterprise programs.
• Familiarity with C2EDS, COP Sync Tool, HCS, MTC, TCOM, WSM, ICS, Informix, GPS integration, S-WAN, MIDS JTRS, BLOS TDL solutions, or CLVT.
