TL;DR
Production Technician I (Advanced Composites Manufacturing): Operating production equipment and performing preparation, mixing, packaging, finishing, quality-control, and basic electrical-testing work for RF and EMI absorbing materials with an accent on production accuracy, material traceability, and defect detection. Focus on setting up work-cell equipment, maintaining production records, handling chemicals safely, and meeting quality and productivity standards in an onsite manufacturing environment.

Location: Onsite in Amesbury, Massachusetts, USA. U.S. citizenship is required due to U.S. government contract regulations.

Pay range: $22.50–$25.75 per hour.

What you will do

  • Prepare, mix, and package liquid saturation systems and perform sanding, pressing, finishing, and band saw operations.
  • Set up and operate production equipment within an assigned work cell while meeting productivity and quality expectations.
  • Perform in-process quality control using measuring devices and conduct basic electrical testing.
  • Maintain electronic and written production records for order tracking, material traceability, consumption, and cycle counts.
  • Prevent and control foreign object debris and actively follow safety-first practices.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong attention to detail, quality, and written instructions.
  • Basic computer skills, measurement reading, and ability to perform mathematical calculations.
  • Ability to stand for 8 hours per day, move equipment weighing up to 50 pounds, and perform manual-dexterity tasks.
  • Excellent vision and ability to identify defects in coatings, raw materials, and finished products.
  • U.S. citizenship required.
