Auto Damage Trainee (Field)

Location: Santa Cruz, California, United States; onsite field role in the listed territory

Salary: $32.05–$50.36 per hour

What you will do

• Inspect vehicles and assess accident-related damage.
• Prepare estimates for vehicle repairs and negotiate equitable settlements.
• Review insurance contracts and consult with customers and other involved parties.
• Coordinate with body shops, rental companies, and parts providers.
• Resolve customer concerns and support a positive claims experience.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license meeting company underwriting guidelines required.
• Strong customer service, interpersonal, problem-solving, empathy, detail-orientation, prioritization, and multitasking skills.
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Nice to have

• Customer-facing experience.
• Experience in a high-volume call center with KPIs and measurable goals.
• Active adjuster’s license; training and examination fees are provided.
• College degree.
