What you will do

• Investigate how regulatory T cells regulate autoimmune inflammation, tissue stress responses, age-associated immune dysregulation, and anti-tumor immunity.
• Study gene-regulatory networks and Foxp3-dependent programs that establish, maintain, and destabilize Treg cell identity and function.
• Develop synthetic and engineering-based approaches to control and reprogram T-cell function for basic and translational research.
• Apply mouse genetics, human T-cell biology, molecular biology, protein biochemistry, functional immunology, genomics, and synthetic immunology.
• Contribute to research projects spanning fundamental and translational immunology supported by multiple NIH grants.

Requirements

• Recent Ph.D. or equivalent research experience.
• Background in immunology, T-cell biology, molecular biology, biochemistry, cancer biology, cell biology, developmental biology, computational biology, bioinformatics, or a related field.
• Strong motivation to pursue research in immune regulation, disease pathogenesis, cancer immunology, systems biology, or immune engineering.
