TL;DR
Test Analyst/Engineer (U.S. Army Air and Missile Defense Systems): Planning and executing end-to-end tests for new and emerging technologies with an accent on requirements verification, test procedures, and regulatory compliance. Focus on supporting highly complex tests, analyzing test data, resolving issues, and coordinating with Army test stakeholders.

Location: Redstone Arsenal, Alabama, United States; 25% travel required

hirify.global supports end-to-end testing of new and emerging technologies for the U.S. Army Portfolio Acquisition Executive—Fires, Integrated Fires Directorate.

What you will do

  • Coordinate test and regulatory requirements across the Portfolio Acquisition Executive—Fires organization and the Army test community.
  • Complete requirements verification and validation documentation and reports.
  • Create test plans and detailed step-by-step test procedures.
  • Support the Test Director during highly complex test execution.
  • Analyze test data to determine whether customer requirements are met and develop mitigation strategies for identified issues.
  • Provide project status reports, participate in integrated product teams, and brief senior stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science degree in a related discipline.
  • At least 10 years of applicable experience.
  • Active and transferable DoD security clearance with a current investigation.
  • Experience with testing and evaluation of U.S. Army Air and Missile Defense Systems.
  • Creative problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively under stressful conditions.

Nice to have

  • In-depth knowledge of the U.S. Army Integrated Air and Missile Defense System and its requirements process.
  • Knowledge of Army test planning, processes, and execution.
  • Knowledge of Integrated Battle Command Station architecture and interoperability.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills and experience working in dynamic team environments.
  • Proficiency with Windows-based software, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Microsoft Teams.
