Associate Director, Strategy & Business Development

Location: St Louis Park, Minnesota, United States; hybrid work

Compensation range: $146,300–$271,700 annually, with potential eligibility for annual incentives.

What you will do

• Lead enterprise-level and business-segment strategy initiatives, including growth strategy, portfolio assessment, and priority setting.
• Structure ambiguous strategic questions and lead analysis from hypothesis development through executive recommendations.
• Support annual strategic planning, long-range planning, and in-depth strategic reviews.
• Conduct market, industry, and competitive analysis and translate trends into strategic implications.
• Identify and evaluate white-space opportunities, adjacency strategies, and transformation initiatives.
• Assess strategic rationale and growth assumptions for potential transactions, participate in selected M&A diligence workstreams, and prepare executive presentations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, engineering, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in corporate strategy, management consulting, corporate development, or a related strategic role.
• Experience leading complex, cross-functional strategy projects from problem definition through recommendation.
• Strong capabilities in market analysis, competitive strategy, financial and investment logic, and scenario planning.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to simplify complex topics for senior executives.
• Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously.
