Manager, Corporate Strategy

Location: Hybrid in Maplewood, Minnesota, United States; remote work is allowed for some duties, but travel to Maplewood is required at least four days per week, Monday through Thursday. Travel may include up to 15% domestic and international travel. Relocation assistance may be authorized.

Salary: $188,251–$230,084 annually, including base pay and variable incentive pay where eligible.

What you will do

• Lead strategic initiatives sponsored by the CEO, CFO, Chief Strategy Officer, and other Operating Committee members.
• Lead corporate portfolio management projects focused on growth, value creation, resource allocation, business creation, and M&A.
• Support enterprise strategic planning, including executive- and Board-level strategy formulation, business cases, and presentation development.
• Track industry and competitive trends and develop business outlooks and forecasts.
• Develop rigorous, fact-based quantitative analyses and ensure recommendations are strategically and financially sound.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher, completed and verified before starting.
• At least five years of strategy experience in a private, public, government, or military environment.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employment visa sponsorship.
• Strong written and verbal communication, analytical, problem-solving, financial, and statistical analysis skills.
• Significant experience with Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel.
• Ability to lead projects with multiple workstreams, collaborate cross-functionally, and interact confidently with senior executives in high-pressure settings.

Nice to have

• Three years of experience at a leading strategy consulting firm or in a similar corporate strategy role.
• Master’s degree or higher from an accredited institution.
• Experience providing innovative solutions to complex strategic issues.
• Experience with advanced analytics tools such as Tableau.
