Earned Value Management Analyst (Mid-Senior Level)

Location: On-site in San Diego, California; work on-site with Navy and USSF customers as needed.

Salary: $85,000–$120,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.

What you will do

• Analyze monthly Integrated Program Management Reports and Integrated Program Data Analysis Reports from industry contractors.
• Perform compliance, performance, predictability, and predictive cost analysis to support program decision-making.
• Plan, participate in, and sometimes lead Integrated Baseline Review activities.
• Prepare customer briefings, management plans, technical reports, and government cost estimate inputs.
• Work with government program offices, contractors, program managers, Navy, and USSF stakeholders.
• Provide EVM training and mentorship to government program office personnel.

Requirements

• At least three years of Earned Value Management and program control experience, preferably supporting the Department of Defense.
• Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, engineering, business, science, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and presentation skills, proficiency with EVM software tools, and extensive knowledge of EVM standards and practices.
• Experience with Integrated Master Schedule data, Integrated Baseline Reviews, risk analysis, cost estimating, and large-scale development and test programs.
• U.S. citizenship is required.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret or TS/SCI security clearance and work in secure facilities such as SCIFs or SAPFs when necessary.

Nice to have

• Prior experience with Department of Defense customers.
• Project Management Professional and/or Earned Value Professional certification, or the ability to obtain it.
• Experience leading compliance, performance, predictability, and EVM-specific training activities.
