Technical Project Manager (IT)

Location: Must be based in Arizona, United States. Remote work is available, with hybrid travel and onsite requirements for office and client meetings.

Salary: $78,000–$130,000 per year.

What you will do

• Lead and coordinate large-scale IT projects for public sector clients using Agile and Waterfall approaches.
• Oversee project deliverables, status reports, work products, schedules, budgets, and project documentation.
• Provide technical oversight of vendor and client processes, methodologies, tools, requirements, and standards.
• Manage risks, issues, stakeholder communications, organizational change management activities, and mitigation strategies.
• Coordinate clients, vendors, project teams, and stakeholders to keep projects on schedule and within budget.
• Support IV&V activities, including findings logs, assessments, and IV&V reports.

Requirements

• Must be based in Arizona and able to meet hybrid travel and onsite requirements.
• 5+ years of overall IT industry experience and 5+ years of project management experience on IT projects.
• Experience with both Agile and Waterfall techniques across operations, infrastructure, and application development projects.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Microsoft Project.
• Ability to manage projects within timelines and budgets and interact with clients and multiple management levels.
• Excellent business writing and presentation skills; a bachelor’s degree is required.

Nice to have

• Arizona state agency experience and experience in state healthcare, labor, or child support domains.
• Active PMP or Certified Scrum Master certification.
• Experience with IV&V, risk management, organizational change management, and complex federal regulations.
• Master’s degree.
