Systems/Quality Analyst II-III (EDI Enrollment) (Healthcare)

Location: Hybrid role with three days per week in the office in Burlington, Renton, Spokane, Vancouver, Portland, Medford, Salt Lake City, Boise, Lewiston, or Fargo. Candidates must live within commuting distance or be willing to relocate.

Salary: Annual ranges vary by level and location. Systems Analyst II: $66,000–$117,000. Systems Analyst III: $80,000–$142,000. Bonus targets are 10% for Level II and 15% for Level III where applicable.

What you will do

• Analyze business, product, application, and data requirements for healthcare enrollment systems and integrations.
• Create structured specifications, use cases, story cards, acceptance criteria, and technical documentation.
• Write SQL queries, interpret data models, and contribute to data analysis, validation, reconciliation, and reporting.
• Support quality assurance, SIT/UAT testing, defect management, and enrollment error resolution.
• Provide level-one application monitoring and on-call support, including issue identification, routing, and communications.
• At Level III, develop complex specifications and automated validation techniques, lead work efforts, and coach analysts.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, mathematics, business administration, or a related field, or equivalent education and experience.
• Level II: at least 2 years of business or systems experience developing software requirements; Level III: at least 5 years.
• Experience with requirements gathering, business process analysis, software development methodologies, QA strategy, and structured analytical approaches.
• Knowledge of SQL, database querying, ETL and data integration concepts, XML, file-based exchanges, and testing support.
• Ability to collaborate with business partners and development teams, document requirements, manage work independently, and communicate clearly.
• Must be able to work three days per week in a listed office location or relocate to a commutable location.

Nice to have

• Edifecs knowledge and experience with healthcare payer, Medicare, or commercial enrollment processes.
• Experience with HIPAA 834 EDI enrollment, Facets enrollment systems, and healthcare eligibility or membership management.
• Spreadsheet-based analysis and automation, production support, and issue triage.
• Experience with AI tools and technologies to improve productivity and decision-making.
