System Integration Business Analyst

Location: United States; hybrid work with travel and onsite requirements

Salary: $55,000–$95,000 per year

What you will do

• Gather and document client requirements, use cases, business processes, and stakeholder feedback through workshops and interviews.
• Write functional specifications for new and enhanced system features.
• Support the integration of software components, third-party applications, and solutions that modernize legacy or mainframe systems.
• Coordinate with development and QA teams throughout project lifecycles and provide delivery updates to project managers.
• Contribute to schedules, quality management plans, testing plans, conversion plans, and other project documentation.
• Identify project risks and issues, support strategic discussions, and contribute to business development, including RFP reviews and writing.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of hands-on experience with cloud-based software.
• Experience with COTS or SaaS solutions and integrated solution implementations.
• Experience across all phases of the system development life cycle using Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid Agile approaches.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, including Project, Visio, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
• Strong written and verbal communication, analytical thinking, documentation, and client collaboration skills.
• Availability for hybrid work, office or client travel, and onsite requirements in the United States.

Nice to have

• SQL fundamentals and experience with JIRA.
• Knowledge of PMBOK, CMMI, Prosci OCM, IEEE, or SEI standards and practices.
• Public-sector client experience, user story and acceptance criteria creation, or training-material development.
• Bachelor’s degree in an IT- or Communications-related field.
• DevOps Project Manager, Certified Scrum Master, SAFe, or Certified Software Test Manager certification.
