Systems Analysis Advisor (Epic Payer Platform)

Salary: $106,100–$176,800 annually, depending on experience and geographic location; eligible for an annual bonus plan.

What you will do

• Serve as a subject matter expert for Epic Payer Platform functionality and payer-provider interoperability workflows.
• Lead or support testing, implementation, rollout, upgrades, and optimization of EPP capabilities.
• Gather business requirements, analyze workflows, identify gaps, and translate needs into Epic configurations and system solutions.
• Coordinate with clinical, operational, payer, technical, Epic, and external partner teams.
• Create process documentation, workflow diagrams, and application support materials.
• Troubleshoot production, workflow, application, and data exchange issues while identifying automation opportunities and managing risks and dependencies.

Requirements

• Experience with Epic Care Everywhere and/or healthcare interoperability solutions.
• Experience implementing, supporting, or optimizing Epic Payer Platform functionality.
• Experience with application implementations, enhancements, upgrades, or major workflow rollouts.
• Ability to gather requirements, analyze workflows, identify gaps, and recommend practical solutions.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to collaborate with clinical, operational, technical, application, payer, and vendor teams.

Nice to have

• Experience with EPP capabilities including CDE, Payment Integrity, ADT, eMPA, CRD/DTR/PAS, Coverage Finder, ID Card, RTE, HPCS, or Care Gaps Exchange.
• Knowledge of FHIR, X12/EDI, and payer-provider data exchange processes.
• Experience with prior authorization, eligibility, coverage discovery, claims, payment integrity, or utilization management workflows.
