Entry Level Plumbing Designer – Multiple Sectors

Location: Onsite positions available in Kansas City, Plano, Nashville, Lenexa, Denver, Phoenix, Houston, Philadelphia, Los Angeles, New York City, Las Vegas, and Bentonville, United States.

Salary: $68,880–$103,320 in Las Vegas; $72,160–$108,240 in Denver; $76,096–$114,144 in Los Angeles; $80,032–$120,048 in New York.

What you will do

• Perform basic engineering calculations and design building plumbing systems with experienced design staff.
• Prepare system layouts, detailed drawings, schematics, reports, plans, and project designs.
• Review shop drawings for conformance with plans and specifications.
• Support business development and pursuit activities.
• Participate in client, company, and industry events to build professional relationships.
• Visit job sites occasionally to verify existing conditions and observe construction progress.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering field and one year of experience, or three years of experience without a degree.
• Basic knowledge of the A&E industry, applicable codes, design guides, and standards.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Background and employment eligibility checks are required.

Nice to have

• Proficiency with Revit and Bluebeam Revu.
• Completion of the Fundamentals of Engineering exam.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office products.
