Location: Hybrid in Rogers, Arkansas or Overland Park, Kansas

Salary: $60,997–$104,549 per year. Typical Rogers, Arkansas pay range: $60,997–$72,444.

What you will do

• Perform basic mechanical engineering calculations and develop system designs under senior staff guidance.
• Create system layouts, detail drawings, schematics, schedules, studies, plans, reports, specifications, and project documentation.
• Model airside ductwork, air terminals, equipment, waterside piping, pumps, and terminal and main equipment.
• Develop heating and cooling load calculations using Carrier HAP.
• Coordinate project scope, feasibility, equipment needs, and technical information with architects, contractors, engineers, clients, and internal teams.
• Communicate design requirements and participate in professional and industry events.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Architectural Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution and 3 or more years of relevant experience preferred, or at least 5 years of relevant design experience without a degree.
• Intermediate knowledge of engineering design, the AEC industry, applicable codes, and standards.
• Computer skills for daily timesheet entry and Microsoft Outlook correspondence.
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
• Prior experience with AutoCAD, Revit, Carrier HAP, and Bluebeam Revu preferred.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in Mechanical or Architectural Engineering or a similar discipline.
• Completion of the Fundamentals of Engineering examination and Engineering in Training certification.
