Occupational Health & Safety Specialist | Temporary Full-Time

Location: Onsite in Jasper, Indiana, at the hirify.global health center, 1620 Cherry Street, Suite A, Jasper, IN 47546

Temporary full-time assignment beginning in November 2026 and lasting approximately 12 weeks. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week, with daily shifts between 7:00 AM and 5:00 PM.

What you will do

• Conduct workplace safety audits, inspections, and incident investigations.
• Identify workplace hazards and develop practical risk-reduction strategies.
• Develop, implement, and support occupational health and workplace safety programs.
• Provide onsite occupational health services, including evaluation and guidance for musculoskeletal complaints within OSHA guidelines.
• Promote injury prevention through employee education, ergonomic recommendations, and proactive interventions.
• Collaborate with clinic providers, employer leaders, and employees while maintaining documentation and OSHA compliance.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Public Health, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• OSHA 10-Hour and/or OSHA 30-Hour certification.
• OSHA Outreach Trainer certification.
• Experience conducting safety audits, inspections, incident investigations, and workplace safety programs.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations, workplace safety standards, communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving.
