Specialist II - EH&S

Location: Clearwater, Florida, United States; onsite, full-time

What you will do

• Conduct routine safety inspections and audits to identify hazards and ensure compliance with OSHA and company standards.
• Assist with incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.
• Support onboarding, PPE, emergency response, and other safety training programs.
• Monitor and report environmental metrics, including waste, emissions, and water usage.
• Assist with environmental permitting, regulatory reporting, hazardous waste management, and chemical inventory tracking.
• Maintain EHS documentation and systems while collaborating on sustainability and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• High school diploma with 8 years of experience, an associate’s degree with 3–5 years of experience, or a four-year degree in safety science or engineering.
• 3–5 years of safety or manufacturing experience.
• Knowledge of applicable environmental, safety, regulatory, professional, and industry standards.
• Ability to interpret and apply regulations, develop procedures, prioritize workloads, and meet deadlines.
• Ability to train, coach, mentor, communicate with all organizational levels, and deliver presentations.
• Strong written and verbal communication, organization, decision-making, and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to have

• CSP, CIH, or other professional certifications.
