GEOINT Systems Engineer IV

Location: Chesterbrook, Pennsylvania, United States; no remote or telework allowed.

Salary: $5,000 per month.

What you will do

• Support capability and solution definition for future space systems through readiness events and independent review teams.
• Support systems engineering for GEOINT space system acquisitions across space, ground, and enterprise segments.
• Review engineering artifacts, CONOPS, interfaces, architectures, requirements baselines, schedules, risks, and mission capabilities through IPTs and engineering working groups.
• Create quantifiable requirements and verify compliance with client requirements and government standards.
• Assess performance using evaluation criteria and technical performance measures, supporting design reviews, verification, and validation.
• Apply MBSE principles and tools, including SysML modeling, to develop mission-system models and facilitate collaboration between subject-matter experts and MBSE specialists.

Requirements

• Must possess and be able to maintain a TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
• 3–10 years of related experience depending on education: bachelor’s, master’s, or PhD in systems engineering or a related technical or scientific field.
• Experience in requirements engineering, systems integration, and risk, issue, and opportunity management.
• Ability to identify and solve problems, support customer needs, communicate clearly in writing and verbally, and work autonomously.
• Ability to lead or support multiple projects and operate effectively across SETA, FFRDC, and government lines of authority.

Nice to have

• GEOINT mission expertise in electro-optical or radar systems.
• Experience with MBSE tools, modeling methodologies, UML, SysML, and digital engineering.
• Technical or team leadership experience with internal and customer stakeholders.
• Experience with Agile or SAFe Agile development methods.
• OCSMP Level 1, 2, or 3 certification.
