Workday HRIS Analyst (Workday)

Location: Dallas, Texas, United States; hybrid work with a minimum of 3 days in the office per week. Must live in the Dallas area.

What you will do

• Provide first-line and escalated support for Workday, investigating system issues, unexpected results, and process flaws.
• Lead testing and implementation of Workday releases, upgrades, patches, configuration changes, integrations, and module rollouts.
• Translate HR business needs into technical requirements and act as a liaison between HR, IT, vendors, and functional stakeholders.
• Design and maintain Workday reports, calculated fields, dashboards, audits, and queries while monitoring data integrity.
• Identify opportunities to automate and streamline HRIS processes and support Payroll, Benefits, Compensation, and Onboarding workflows.
• Lead change management activities, including training, user communications, procedures, job aids, and system documentation.

Requirements

• Must live in the Dallas area and work from the office at least 3 days per week.
• 5+ years of experience in HRIS, HR operations, people analytics, HR data analysis, HR technology, or a related field; Workday experience is required.
• Strong HR data analysis and reporting experience, including dashboards, metrics, trend analysis, and actionable insights.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables, advanced formulas, lookups, conditional logic, data validation, data cleaning, and large dataset analysis.
• Experience with HR metrics such as headcount, turnover, retention, time-to-fill, recruiting funnel activity, offer acceptance, internal mobility, compensation, and workforce demographics.
• Ability to protect sensitive employee and compensation data, manage multiple priorities, communicate clearly, and coordinate cross-functional work.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field.
• Experience with HRIS implementation, integration, migration, configuration, or optimization projects.
