Logistics Analyst

Location: Huntsville, Alabama, United States; travel as needed.

What you will do

• Support acquisition logistics activities for PAE FIRES, PM ACE, and PD C-UAS programs.
• Assist the Director of the Logistics Management Division and program teammates with logistics challenges and strategic initiatives.
• Develop and recommend courses of action for logistics issues, including initiation, mitigation, and engagement activities.
• Perform integrated product support, reliability, availability, and maintainability, and core logistics analyses.
• Develop sustainment, materiel fielding, spend, and manpower plans.
• Support resource management by coordinating budget requirements, funding, and acquisition program documentation.

Requirements

• Experience with Integrated Product Support, Reliability, Availability and Maintainability, Life Cycle Sustainment Plans, and Core Logistics Analysis.
• Knowledge of Type Classification, Materiel Release, Depot Source of Repair Analysis, Materiel Fielding Plans, Spend Plans, Manpower Analysis, and COLTS.
• Must possess or be eligible for an active Department of Defense Secret security clearance and be able to maintain it.
• Bachelor’s degree and/or 10 years of experience in logistics or security planning.
• At least four years of experience developing, directing, and supervising logistics processes within an Army Program Management Office.
• Strong experience coordinating sustainment, post-production software support, and depot maintenance funding requirements.

Nice to have

• Five to ten years of project management experience in a fast-paced environment.
• COLTS experience or certification and knowledge of PPBE or related financial processes.
• Experience developing a complete system sustainment plan and managing an ACAT I–III acquisition logistics program through Milestones B and C.
• DAWIA Program Management certification and/or PMI Project Management Professional certification.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong oral and written communication skills.
