Logistics and Sustainment Analyst, Journeyman (Naval Aviation)

Location: Pax River, MD, United States; travel to other locations up to 10%.

Salary: $70,000–$90,000 per year.

What you will do

• Perform logistics and sustainment activities across the life cycle of naval aviation platforms, programs, and portfolios.
• Conduct sustainment cost analysis, life-cycle cost estimates, trade-off assessments, budgeting, and programming support.
• Analyze readiness impacts, engineering changes, modifications, production rates, warranties, and risk-based cost assessments.
• Evaluate O/I/D-level maintenance options, Performance-Based Logistics, and hybrid sustainment strategies.
• Develop data-driven courses of action and recommendations for logistics and sustainment systems.
• Support Integrated Logistics Support plans and coordinate requirements through disposal with contractors and government representatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 5–10 years of experience in Naval Aviation Supply Systems.
• Experience with NAVAIR, Navy, Marine Corps, and DoD sustainment-related systems.
• Experience supporting naval aviation aircraft, unmanned air systems, aircraft components and subsystems, and weapons.
• Experience with Integrated Product Support, Operations and Support analysis, business case analysis, and return on investment analysis.
• Experience with ERP implementation, data warehouse systems, logistics data integration, and analysis.
• U.S. citizenship and an active Secret Security Clearance are required; the role is subject to a government security investigation.
