Logistics Analyst

Location: Chattanooga, TN, USA; full-time, onsite role.

What you will do

• Coordinate drivers, trucks, containers, and daily routing activities to create capacity and maximize productivity.
• Analyze route data and update route designs using the internal routing platform to improve efficiency, accuracy, and standardization.
• Monitor routes in real time, resolve in-transit issues, and adjust same-day and next-day plans as service needs change.
• Manage missed pickups, service commitments, swing routes, and customer communications to maintain reliable service.
• Review disposal plans, identify optimal disposal sites, and coordinate updates with the Operations Manager.
• Promote driver safety, asset security, route compliance, and adherence to hours-of-service and weight requirements.

Requirements

• Analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and experience in a customer-facing position.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with rapidly changing priorities and time-sensitive tasks.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
• Two years of prior experience in dispatching or a similar leadership role preferred.
