Logistics Analyst

Location: Huntsville, Alabama, United States; up to 25% travel required

What you will do

• Provide logistics and programmatic support to Air and Missile Defense programs.
• Analyze technical data, contractual documents, customer usage, maintenance practices, and operational characteristics to determine spares and maintenance requirements.
• Conduct technical studies and research to refine project requirements and identify logistics actions.
• Coordinate logistics tasks, reviews, approvals, project planning, and completion across resource managers and stakeholders.
• Develop improvements to complex workflows and management practices, providing recommendations for programmatic decisions.
• Represent customer logistics interests in Integrated Product Team meetings, working groups, and program reviews; prepare reports and serve as the primary customer contact.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Typically 10 or more years of relevant experience, including logistics best practices and cross-functional program support.
• Must currently possess or be able to obtain a SECRET security clearance within six months of hiring.
• Must be able to support up to 25% travel.
• Strong problem-solving, organization, initiative, communication, and stakeholder relationship-building skills.
• Ability to support U.S. Government customers and communicate with senior leadership.

Nice to have

• 10 or more years of experience working with or supporting the Patriot Air and Missile Defense Weapon System.
• 10 or more years of DoD logistics-related experience.
• Current SECRET security clearance at the time of hiring.
• Five or more years of experience with DoD Foreign Military Sales projects.
