Logistics and Sustainment Analyst, Senior (Naval Aviation Logistics): Analyzing logistics, sustainment, maintenance, readiness, and lifecycle affordability for Naval Aviation platforms and programs with an accent on cost analysis, Integrated Product Support, depot maintenance, and operational readiness. Focus on identifying aviation readiness degraders, evaluating sustainment strategies, integrating logistics data, and developing executive-level reports and recommendations.

Location: On site in Pax River, Maryland, United States; travel to other locations up to 10%.

Salary: $100,000–$115,000 per year.

What you will do

  • Serve as a logistics and sustainment subject matter expert supporting Naval Aviation readiness initiatives.
  • Conduct organizational, logistics, maintenance, supply, reliability, and operational analyses to identify performance gaps and improvement opportunities.
  • Perform sustainment cost analyses, Life Cycle Cost Estimates, Business Case Analyses, affordability assessments, and return-on-investment analyses.
  • Evaluate maintenance concepts, depot capacity, workload planning, repair capability, production metrics, and Performance-Based Logistics strategies.
  • Analyze aircraft, weapons, components, engineering changes, modifications, and operational scenarios to assess sustainment, readiness, and lifecycle impacts.
  • Develop courses of action, dashboards, metrics, executive reports, and briefings for government leadership and program stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and 10 or more years of experience with NAVAIR, Navy, Marine Corps, and DoD sustainment-related systems.
  • Experience supporting Naval Aviation, including fixed-wing and rotary-wing aircraft, unmanned air systems, avionics, aircraft components, missiles, ordnance, or bombs.
  • Experience with Integrated Product Support and Operations and Support analysis, including maintenance, supply, workforce, support strategy, and disposal requirements.
  • Experience with ERP implementation, sustainment analysis, data warehouses, business case analysis, and return-on-investment analysis.
  • Knowledge of logistics and aviation systems including DECKPLATE, Vector, RAMP, IPSMS, AMSRR, OARS, AFAST, MDAT, REMIS, LIMS-EV, EPUK, NGBMS, and LPT is required or strongly relevant.
  • U.S. citizenship, eligibility for classified access, and an active Secret Security Clearance are required.
