TL;DR
Aerospace Materials Supervisor (Supply Chain/Manufacturing): Leading the material handlers' group and managing raw material and finished goods stores with an accent on inventory control, KPI performance, and Lean process improvement. Focus on developing a high-performing team, coordinating physical inventories and cycle counts, and resolving inventory discrepancies across Buyers, Planners, Operations, Finance, and Procurement.

Location: On-site in Lynnwood, Washington, United States. Access to controlled data may require the candidate to be a US Person under ITAR regulations.

Salary: $94,000–$122,000 USD annually.

What you will do

  • Lead the day-to-day performance and standardization of the material handlers' group.
  • Develop, mentor, and coach the Material Handling team across raw material and finished goods stores.
  • Maintain accurate inventory control, accountability, physical inventories, and cycle counting.
  • Resolve inventory receipt variances and coordinate discrepancies with internal and external customers.
  • Lead continuous improvement and quality improvement initiatives with Buyers, Planners, Operations, Procurement, Finance, and other site functions.
  • Coordinate excess and obsolete inventory reporting, categorization, disposition, withdrawal, and disposal processes.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of work experience, including 3+ years supervising or leading people, preferably in manufacturing.
  • BS degree in supply chain, logistics, business, or a related field.
  • Knowledge of integrated production and inventory management, inventory control, and Lean principles.
  • Advanced computer skills with Excel, Access, and word-processing applications; ERP experience, preferably Oracle.
  • Strong organizational, process optimization, analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • US Person eligibility may be required for access to ITAR-controlled data.

Nice to have

  • APICS and/or ISM certification.
