Materials Expeditor (Manufacturing)

Location: Columbia, Pennsylvania, United States — onsite at the plant

Salary: $70,000–$85,000 per year

What you will do

• Own inventory accuracy and material availability across prioritized plant areas.
• Lead dispatchers, leads, and cycle counters to ensure execution coverage across shifts.
• Oversee cycle-count completion and resolve shortages, misplacements, and system discrepancies.
• Act as the escalation point for inventory and material issues and drive corrective actions for recurring problems.
• Ensure adherence to inventory and material-handling processes through regular floor walkthroughs.
• Coordinate with production, warehouse, and planning teams while reporting daily issues, risks, and performance.

Requirements

• 3–7+ years of experience in inventory, materials, or manufacturing operations.
• Experience leading teams on the shop floor.
• Strong understanding of cycle counting and inventory control.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work onsite at the Columbia, Pennsylvania plant.

Nice to have

• Experience with an ERP or inventory management system.
