Material Resource Planner (Aerospace Manufacturing)

Location: Hybrid work near Denver or Colorado Springs, with some work required on site. The posting also lists Denver, CO or Long Beach, CA. U.S. citizenship, lawful permanent residency, protected individual status, or eligibility for required U.S. Department of State authorizations is required under ITAR regulations.

Base salary: $80,000–$115,000 per year, plus equity and benefits.

What you will do

• Maintain material requirements planning for assigned programs and align production schedules with material availability.
• Monitor shortages, long-lead items, and critical-path components, escalating supply chain risks proactively.
• Collaborate with Procurement, Manufacturing, and Engineering to resolve material and scheduling conflicts.
• Support S&OP demand review meetings with accurate planning data.
• Maintain ERP/MRP data integrity, including part records, lead times, BOM structures, and work orders.
• Track schedule adherence, shortages, open orders, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant work experience.
• 3–5 years of material planning, production planning, or scheduling experience.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or similar, plus knowledge of MRP logic and work order management.
• Familiarity with S&OP and demand planning concepts.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, organizational, and prioritization skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.

Nice to have

• Space technology, launch vehicle manufacturing, aerospace, defense, or complex manufacturing supply chain experience.
• APICS CPIM certification or progress toward certification.
• Experience with Propulsion, Structures, Power Systems, Avionics, or integration and test operations.
• Experience in a high-growth manufacturing environment or new program standup.
• Familiarity with MS Project or similar scheduling tools.
