Production Scheduler (Aerospace & Defense)

Location: Moorpark, CA, United States; onsite, full time

Salary: $90,000–$120,000 per year

What you will do

• Plan and manage daily manufacturing activities across assigned production cells.
• Lead scheduling actions and adjust production plans for demand, forecast, production, inventory, and customer changes.
• Review sales orders, determine feasible delivery dates, and maintain production schedules and visual boards.
• Plan operator and equipment capacity monthly and prepare weekly work plans using MS Project or MS Excel.
• Coordinate material flow and production activities with product engineers, production planners, buyers, supervisors, and production management.
• Present production performance, program status, capacity plans, and operational updates to site and senior leadership.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, an engineering discipline, or equivalent experience.
• Strong planning, organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and motivate people in a production environment.
• Working knowledge of ERP/MRP systems and proficiency with MS Project, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Nice to have

• Experience implementing Lean Manufacturing concepts.
