Field Service Technician IV (Aerospace & Defense)

Location: Shalimar, Florida, United States; frequent travel to international customer locations and extended OCONUS deployments on an approximate 60/60 rotation.

What you will do

• Execute maintenance, repair, inspection, and troubleshooting of advanced aerospace and defense systems.
• Independently manage complex field service projects at customer and deployed operating locations.
• Lead, mentor, and provide technical guidance to field service teams.
• Develop and deliver technical training for customers and internal teams.
• Maintain equipment records, manage spare-parts and tool inventory, and prepare technical reports for senior management.
• Follow safety standards and industry regulations while working in offices, industrial sites, confined spaces, and other field environments.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED; a relevant higher-level degree may substitute for experience.
• At least 5 years of technician or related experience, with advanced troubleshooting and electrical wiring skills.
• Experience interpreting technical schematics, diagrams, blueprints, manuals, and publications.
• Prior experience with Linux and Java.
• Active Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility and U.S. citizenship are required.
• Must be able to travel outside the continental United States, deploy OCONUS for extended periods, meet DoD and Combatant Command requirements, obtain international travel visas, and complete a pre-deployment medical assessment.

Nice to have

• Associate’s degree in a related field.
• FCC or FCC General Radio Operator License, Security+, Network+, CCNA, or A+ certifications.
• Experience with spectrometers, oscilloscopes, or pilot static equipment gauges.
• Aerospace and defense, U.S. Department of Defense, or U.S. military background.
• Experience leading technical teams or large-scale projects.
