Sr. Manager, Venue Infrastructure Delivery

Location: Los Angeles office, United States; in-person presence required. Occasional venue visits, on-site work, extended hours during critical build milestones, and operational responsibilities during the Games are expected. hirify.global does not provide relocation assistance.

Annual base salary: $105,000–$140,000

hirify.global is an independent, non-profit, privately funded organizing committee delivering the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic and Paralympic Games.

What you will do

• Lead the end-to-end design, build, and delivery of a key Games-time venue.
• Manage and develop a team of 3–4 staff members, including design-related sub-functions.
• Coordinate architecture, engineering, consultants, contractors, and internal stakeholders.
• Facilitate technical requirements, reviews, approvals, and venue design development.
• Align venue milestones with Event Management, Hospitality & Ticketing, Games Operations, and Infrastructure Program Management.
• Coordinate with the IOC and IPC, manage budgets and risks, and resolve stakeholder and delivery issues.

Requirements

• Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in event overlay design and temporary infrastructure delivery.
• Experience with temporary infrastructure projects and diverse stakeholder groups.
• Leadership experience, including people development and collaboration with senior executives.
• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Sports Management, Construction Management, Event Management, or equivalent experience.
• Strong communication, organization, problem-solving, negotiation, and change-management skills.
• Fluency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; working knowledge of California Building Code requirements is preferred.

Nice to have

• Experience in event operations, logistics, hospitality, or a related field.
• Working knowledge of California Building Code requirements.
